My Story

It’s time to (properly) introduce myself. I’m Gemma—competitive dancer, global adventurer and passionate Melbourne career coach. Hi!

Let me give you the low-down.

Too many talented people are stuck in jobs that don’t reflect their true capability.

Not because they’re not smart enough or unqualified—because no one ever taught them how to show up (and stand out) in the job market. That’s where I come in.

I’ve been there (and done that).

I flew to Melbourne in 2018 for what was supposed to be a gap year.

Spoiler: I fell in love with this city and decided to stay, but this meant building a life and a career from scratch. Cut to now, and I’ve racked up a business degree, a career leading a global team of HR professionals and over a decade of industry experience (with the insider strategies and tips to prove it!).

Don’t get it twisted—none of this was down to luck.

Over the years, I’ve worked super hard at networking, relationship building and making strategic power moves to get to where I am today.

I’m not here to gate-keep—I want to help you do the same. Here’s how:
